The Mutation branch can greatly affect Toxicity levels. However also applying Ability Points to various skills and making them active in your Skill Tree can and will affect the amount of Toxicity. Potions will affect them but for a much briefer period of time while the effect of Decoctions will last much longer.

Toxicity can be affected by numerous things. Killer Whale (this cannot be upgraded to Enhanced and Superior but has only one form) So for Potions, you can only ever have 13 of them: So you will never have all of them at the same time in your inventory.ĭecoctions only have one form and cannot be upgraded. Same goes for when you upgrade from Enhanced to Superior. So when you have the Basic recipe and then upgrade it to Enhanced, you will no longer have the Basic item in your posession.

The mod even allows for Geralt's toxicity level to be displayed visually, which is a nice touch.Ĭheck out the images below and let us know what you think.Every time you upgrade any oil, potion or bomb, it replaces the one below it.

However, a new mod shared recently on Nexus Mods will help ease PC players into the TV series by letting them change Geralt's traditional in-game face for one that looks much more like actor Cavill. For some, that's going to mean that the TV series feels just a little bit off, with people having spent so much time with Geralt as he was and not how he's going to look. The thing is, Cavill looks rather different from his video game likeness (and his voice is certainly different to that of voice actor Doug Cockle, although there's not much that can be done about that). There's always a disconnect when a new actor takes on an established role, whether that be in a series or when a property moves between media, and that's certainly the case with The Witcher, which is currently being adapted for television with Henry Cavill playing the iconic monster slayer from Rivia.
